About us
PlayBuddies Trust is a not-for-profit organisation legally registered in Namibia, with a vision to improve early childhood development in Namibia and Africa at large. We aim to achieve this by facilitating access to contextualised literature, play and learning materials, and other information for children and their families.
The lack of contextualised teaching and learning materials in early years has a major impact on the development for children especially those from underprivileged communities, which results into, low early literacy and numeracy skills as well as non-exposure to a culture of reading and self-education, a major drawback in their educational development.
